Because there wasn't any forum available yet.

I know forums are very old fashioned but the can serve there purpose very well.

We can't be relying on news sites only (and they somethings can't be trusted) and although Twitter is the greatest thing since pizza it has it limits.

Please note that this is a 99.9% moderation free forum, almost anything goes.

Only those who are taking being rude to the next level will be banned from posting.

Please let me know if something has to be changed or added (category/forum wise) and I will do my best to listen and act.

UPDATE

Ok time to update the first post. We are now running for almost 3 days and there are some interesting threads going on, super great!

I do need all y'alls (yep I just did) to promote the wikileaksforum.net site. I will try and give you some options:

Twitter - Please tweet as much as you can about the ability to actually join the discussion on this site. Its free and people are interested, just overwhelmed by all the possibilities to comment on all news sites ect.

Facebook - Same goes, just post as much as you can. Do not be afraid to voice your opinions, its your right!

Blogs - If you do have a blog please write a short article about this site and link to us, its good for your visitors and great for the Googlers who also need to be able to join the discussion.

Widget - Here is a widget you can add to your site, social network (those who allow html widgets) blog or anywhere you want:

Quick tips -

Don't be afraid to ask, just be friendly and not pushy.

List advantages: pretty much unmoderated (freedom of speech baby) / free / centralized discussions / reasonably fast / clear lay out (a bit dated I know) / possibility to understand other point of views.

Also tell your friends and family, everyone is welcome to joint the discussion.

Let me know if you have other ways of promoting and I will add them if possible.

**E-mail notification**

I am currently testing a e-mail notification option that will sent an e-mail if someone posts in a favorite topic. This means if you want notifications you have to add the topic to favorites AND make sure you have notifications enabled within your profile settings (tick the box).

**Profile view**

After being offline for about 4 hours profile view is back, so we can all edit (and enable NOTIFICATIONS) our profiles but NO data except the username and avatar is shown when someone tries to view your profile (which is not linked anywhere on the site except for yourself when you're logged in).

Thanks, please include the Forum in your promotions. I know its old fashioned but it can give us a nice central place to discuss and find information. Biggest problem with all the news so far its just too fragmentated (inlcuding the comments).

We all know Wikileaks didn’t stole it--it was given to them as a gift from the tax god and then the fairy god tax queen voted in what others had said in the act of committing an international crime in their declaration of War against terrorism to create what is now known as the U.S. “Ponziwardebt” onto the rest of the world‘s societies that triggered what we all know now as the great recession of the 21st Century. The title of a 670 page book called the “U.S. Ponziwardebt” will soon to be release to the United Nations. So there more to the stories then just the WikiLeaks stories but wouldn’t be fascinating and curious to know how they all fit into the bigger picture called the “Smoking Cyber Gun Part One”

Yes! Obama we all know about the penetrating political wounds that had rip out of your compassionate liberal hart in order to please the tax god as a distraction doesn‘t fool anybody else on the international stage; but is it not the fact that there something more to it then just postponing the tax sucking debate about sucking the living daylight out of innocent human beings, especially when war crimes are still being committed by your administration and then the cost of it to the poor sucking taxpayer all around the world because of United States Ponziwardebt. What we are taking about here, Obama, is the fact that the United States government declaration of War against both Iraq and Afghanistan as a major war against terrorism is in fact international crimes being carried by the U.S. defense department against humanity which many of us know by now are punishable by existing international laws. So how WikiLeaks fits into all this? And then when you start to look at it from a different prospective: is it or is it not free speech, but about the revelation in revealing the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth about you trying to help the political dogs lie about the murdering of innocent men, women, and children that makes Wikileaks standout among the thugs who goes around stealing other peoples ideas and patients like what some within the communist party of China have been doing most recently and asserted themselves as saying they are obeying by international law after the damage has been already done.

Yes! carrying out acts of crimes against humanity, Obama, and trying to relate to the thorny issues of the intellectual arguments of patent right might be appealing to some who would want to cover up the crimes on the republican side but what about if it would pose a challenge to your reelection bid, but to many in the international communities it still have a lot to do with the concept of being fair in communicating one thoughts freely as I am doing here with out declaring war that might add insult to your injury political busted lip as we can clearly see being level against your administration for not admitting that the U.S. War on terrorism was a complete failure when we look at the facts that nearly half a million lives were lost all because the U.S. government wanted to declared two war against two nation that did not declared war on the United States. And the fact that these U.S. wars are the failure of the U.S. government diplomatic gossips for not addressing organized drug terrorism nongovernmental actors carrying acts of terrorism that was responsible for 9/11 what we had was declaration of war to cover up declaration of crimes against humanity. What do you have to say about that, Obama?

Yes! Obama, you had the right notion when you were campaigning for the presidency in 2008 that these two war were unjust but then you switched just like you switched on taxes. It will be only when someone would rip out your compassionate liberal hart out that you would then being to have enough common sense to switch and make the right decision on the tuff issues. Sooner or later they are going to start calling you the switch and reset president because of the weak spot in how hard heartedness you can be in carpetating and then they are going to feed you to the lions like what others politicians had done in ancient Rome time to feed the faming of political dissent. In other words, all the Wikileaks U.S. diplomatic cable leaks I believe should have been made public upon their immediate release if there were clear evidence of international crime being committed by the United States government. Am I wrong or right for saying this Obama? But as on the incentive on the part of WikiLeaks to try to make a profit is not quite addressing the humanity right issues or the crimes, but if evidence in those cable leaks really reveals that that major crimes against humanity were carryout by your administration then that implicate the United States defense department and Robert Gates as co--conspirator in carrying out major crime crimes against humanity. Why don’t you ask Robert Gates to find out what the hell he have to say about what I had been saying at the United Nations all along for the past two years that the two Bush declaration of War constitute as a major crime committed against humanity by the U.S. defense department. Would you agree or disagree with me on this one Obama? And I’m sure if those at WikiLeaks would had taking professional journalist advice they would most likely would had released all of the 25I,287 diplomatic cable without jeopardizing the release of the names of innocent bystander who life would have been put at risk of which only one percent of the total number of the cables has been already release thus far, but what if all of them are release at once and implicate you as a war criminal. Do you have anything to say about this?

Yes! Obama, eventually names could be released at a later date once a full international investigation has been carried out which would involve investigating other major crimes being carryout by the United States military trying to cover their track of crimes, and then of course it would be quite obvious that we have a lot of unanswered question that still would need to be answer by you and your administration. Am I wrong or right for saying this Obama? Therefore, to save your neck and your presidency from complete ruins, I am calling for an independent international commission to fully investigate all the WikiLeaks U.S. diplomatic cable thus far released including all the rest of them that has yet to be released and even if they do get released there would still be a lot of explaining on your part in were your made the mistake in declaring war. In other words, individual names should be removed right now in the act of carrying out cyber retaliation in releasing the remaining 251,287 Wikileaks cable that have not been release and that would put you right on the spot. Now whether or not “WikiLeaks will now decide to release all of them remains to be seen. But declaring a cyber war which the U.S. military did at your administration request was the wrong thing to do. It turned out to be a cause for international justice that had triggered the action of others for free speech which I believe just doesn’t make sense if these leaks were forged by those within the U.S. state department who may had alter many of them knowing that I would eventually be coming after them in the matter of time as I’m doing here today putting you and your administration right on the spot to tally up all the lies and innuendo about who was holding who hostage at the Whitehouse. Call it what you want but I call it “carpetation” on your part to cover up for the Bush administration stupid wars of declaration against terrorism and the truth about it has yet to be revealed.

It’s one thing, Obama, to have started a war over the internet to prevent other from knowing the true facts about the full detail about how the U.S. military was responsible for murdering innocent human beings in order to cover up the facts about what has been really taking place at the United Nations and How U.S. former U.S. ambassador, Richard C Holbrooke to the UN fits into all these immoral criminal activity, which would clearly identify you President, Obama, as a co-conspirator in carpetating everything I had said; and then on the other hand there must be a pulse for a call for moral justification in investigating all these ethical cyber attack not in the act of declaring a cyber war which the U.S. military already did and have brought onto themselves but the call for international moral justice as I’m declaring here today for more international involvement in getting down to the bottom of it all which undauntedly put your presidency reelection on hold. And I’m sure those within the U.S. justice department including Attorney Eric H Holder Jr. and others, would be to force you to recognize the international legality of what I am presenting here today that major crimes against humanity were carried out by your administration but the ones who are most responsible to blame for the injustice are really those from the Bush administration. So who ever call for impeachment first, just like during the Clinton administration, will have the upper hand and then of course you would have to reconsider whether you are going to run for re--election or not.

Furthermore, I hope John McCain also hear what the hell I have to say here because if the evidence is out there in those WikiLeaks diplomatic gossip cable leaks then that would clearly identify Phylistic Political Science involvement in these debates as something much more then what your administration have been trying to carpetate through diplomatic channels that would clearing indicate that several United States senators on the U.S. senate intelligence committee were also responsible for committing the same crimes against humanity as well, which I believe would eventually can and should be prosecuted before an international world court tribunal if all the facts Wiki your administration involvement as well. Would you agree with me on that one after all it your legacy as the 44th president of the United States that is what it is being stigmatized here in the wake of the release of the diplomatic gossip. You either would have to make a switch and reset renounce to stipulate that the stupid Bush wars on terrorism was a mistake or you would have to drop out of the reelection campaign because sooner or later it going to hit you even more harder then what politically busted your lip open in the aftermath of showmanship of ethics. It’s going to be a political wound unlike anything anyone had ever seen because the truth is that they will sooner or later are going to be calling you something either as a carpetator or a liar which really means the same thing as a pathological liar unless you could explain yourself how the republicans behind the scene have held you hostage at the Whitehouse for the past two years. There is an easy way out just renounce the stupid little Bush war on terrorism and watch how the republicans will fall flat on their faces. But if I was in your shoes show us the moral character that is really you, admit that it was wrong to have had declared war on terrorism and fight the republican on every inch of moral ground for impeachment of one of their own ---------------- surrender to me your former commander and chief. Everyone at the UN knows that I’m the lion outside the cage desperate for a piece of Bushmeat because they know I have an ferocious apatite for political diplomatic gossip and I’m sure many of those at many of these US embassy that are described in the leaks must have had mention it in these cable leaks because it all comes down to the fictional story telling that I had presented to many other diplomats at the United Nations that must have had made them laugh about how serious the U.S. states department was in trying to keep a lid on a fairytale story that came to life in a puppet show as I pulled the curtain and showed the water fountain in front of the Whitehouse. And a reminder just the mire fact that a 22 year old low level military intelligence analysis had enough commonsense to figure out that crimes against humanity were being carried out by your administration, Obama, or those within your states department with or without your knowledge, or the fact that the leaks now have been premeditated intentional alter and released to distract from the real debates I have been raising at the United Nations about declaration of War as a major crime against humanity, it would most likely surely have been revealed in those cable leaks that the authority of others within the U.S. military or within your administration has been creating diversion from trying to prevent this story from going public which I believe does raises some serious questions about how far up within the U.S. States Department and at several of these U.S. embassy in the Middle East were individuals instructed to carrying out this crimes against humanity of “carpetating” on your behalf, immorally trying to change historical events relating to what I had been saying at the United Nations about your effort to cover--up what took place in the past with the Bush administration, which bring us right back to how much involvement you had in carrying out the carpetational in behalf of the Bush administration and which I know some republicans would be homing in on to see how much involvement other republicans have been with out their knowledge that I might uncover and bring to the forefront of international debate that would decimate any hope for them capturing the Whitehouse in 2012. I’m not stupid they lost the 2008 election because of my intervention and I know John McCain would like to get even unless I bet him to the cable punch line about who really premeditated the cable leaks to try to stop me from diplomatically coming after Bush.

I find it somewhat very hard to believe that it was a normal fight pattern, especially when I had argued repeatedly at the UN about the use of U.S. military helicopters being used in the city of Philadelphia to follow and antagonize me because of what I had said at the UN about U.S. military crimes against humanity, and of course which I had most recently described in my book to the UN released on September 8, 2010 called “the stuff that spies stories are made of”, 444 pages in all I’m sure must had raised some serious question about your administration involvement in carrying out political persecution against me which was I view as the same pattern of political extortion and corruption carried out during the Bush administration, and of course I had said the book was one of eight books I will be releasing attacking your administration on the grounds for the need of impeachment. Did any diplomatic official gave you a copy of the book? Of course its all about the freedom to want to fly where ones want to go but to use the Whitehouse helicopters domestically for political antagonizing along with other federal government agencies to carryout political persecution is some what going a little to far, wouldn’t you agree with me. In other words, Obama, there something more to those diplomatic distorted cable--leaks then just diplomatic gossip as good as I am at writing about it here as something free for everyone to know.

Yes! after all, we all know the New York Times is a gossip liberal new paper. What they did not mention most recently was the fact that they didn’t had enough common sense to legally advise WikiLeaks leader Julian Assange about the pros and cons about what’s morally right and how best to release all of WikiLeaks diplomatic cables all at once if there is a smoking gun that can clearly identify you as being held hostage. But I find it some what hard to believe that the New York Times knows everything that every liberal have to said, including you, Obama, especially if the leaks were intended to cover--up your administration wrong doing in declaring war on terrorism, which of course would reveal your administration of having had multiplied terrorism a thousand times--fold with no moral success stories nor any moral victory because the lost of civilians lives just doesn‘t add up as an honorable victory nor success especially when half a million people lost their lives as you ignored their plead for your military forces to get out of their country. Democracy regime change just doesn‘t hit it and the more you had authorized the military corruption process the more they had corrupted others within the CIA because they know you’re being held hostage. And it would not surprise me at all if someone within the republican party would now come out and call foul play as others within there own rank would most likely start calling for your impeachment if there a smoking gun about Bush or Cheney shooting themselves in the foot politically to hold you hostage. My advice is beat them at their own punch line and stand up for what morally right by calling for the impeachment of former President George Bush. After all there were a lot of left over republicans from the Bush administration in the state department and if there were any vendetta that was carried out against Hillary Clinton in exposing the leaks that came out of her rear gossip then it would most likely confirm what I have been saying about the Bush administration cover up of crimes against humanity. My advice is to immediately pardon the 22 year snitch and start addressing the issues of foul play at the state department holding you hostage so that the republican could come in and finish the job or just say that they just wanted something to eat instead of cable gossip. Someone was holding someone presidency hostage with or without your knowledge. In other words, I will be calling for a full international investigation at the UN to be made public and immediately and without any delay regarding the smoking gun if there is one within the cable leaks which I hope would call into question some members of the republican leadership in both houses whom I’m sure will have no other choice but to call for an open senate committee investigation about what the hell all this means, especially as we can see arguably would also involve everyone else presidential bid come 2012 about how best to address the hypocrisy of declaration of war coming out of the Whitehouse regardless of who else might be held hostage to listen to a puppet show or some stupid intelligence report to cover up acts of war crimes Bush was responsible for in the Middle East.

And each and every republican who dear to try to challenge my words or dear to interfere in what I have been trying to accomplishment at the United Nations will learn the hard way that resistance to this historical fact is just futile. How could anyone with malice interdiction have wanted to try to forge a close relationship with former Secretary General of the United Nations, Kofi Annan, unless Richard C. There a cyber war out there, Obama, and the only way to stop it is to fully recognize Phylistic Political Science in these debates. I been calling for the international prosecution of former President George Bush. Do I make myself clear or do someone else have to smoke the republican out to force them to do surrender their former commander and chief on war crimes against humanity charges and then again I know exactly what they would say that Mrs. Clinton has been an ineffective secretary of states that has jeopardize U.S. security interest by putting to many people at risk with her gossip with other diplomatic officials. Oh by the way, Obama, you should listen to what I have to say about you in my next book called “reaching for the stars” it just might be the book that releases your sole and spirit to become distant for fame and world admiration for what you really wanted to be, a great Teddy Roosevelt liberal who represented great change for the little guys out there in the galaxy of stories and fame during an era of great depression during his presidency.

Those in support of WikiLeaks and/or those against WikiLeaks. The jury is still out there with the rest of the 99% of the cables that have yet to be released. Here another example: Senator Lieberman who had claimed that U.S. laws have been violated, but as I see it--he really ignore the facts that human rights have been also violated on the part of the United States Military ----------------- my advice to Wikileaks followers is to ignore the profitgational aspect of the release first and then focus on the humanity aspect of morality and justice to bring those responsible to the forefront even if there are those in Europe who are also responsible ----------------- is there a major crime committed against humanity ---------------- is there a smoking gun, and if so take the appropriate action, just don’t release vague pieces of the stories. Just release the stories that can best pin a tale on a donkey ass and if a major piece of evidence is put into prospective about what is being said here then go for the moral high grounds if the evidence reveal that major crimes have been carryout by the Americans Military. Concealing some names now and release them latter would help address the debate for the call for an international investigation that must be assemble immediately upon the release of the rest of the cable--leaks. Once everyone is on the right side about what is ethical in pursuing moral justice against the Americans would eventually become fair game in bringing about the vindication of the case against Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange, as I see it as the moral and just cause for humanity, especially if more leaks will prove to substantiate my hypotheses here that major crimes against humanity were committed with the full knowledge and participation of members within the Obama administration and I’m sure many world leaders will also start to come out and debate what Phylistic Political Science has already debated that needs to be put into perspective into the forefront of international debate, especially if the smoking gun is there for impeachment against those who was holding Obama hostage. And if others in Europe were also responsible for helping carryout the crime in behalf of the Obama administration or the republican leadership in Washington then it would be best debated in the international arena only then do I believe that action against those responsible in the United States can be brought before an international world court tribunal. McCain if I find out that many of those Wikileaks diplomatic gossips cable leaks had something to do with what Phylistic Political Science had said at the United Nations I am going to be seeking international criminal charges against several U.S. senators on the intelligence committee in Washington including you. International charges against the United States government military in committing these crimes against humanity in their declaration of war would most likely be fully revealed in those cable leaks and I can’t see how the republican party is going to win the 2012 U.S. presidential election if Obama is held hostage to forced to concede that the war Champaign was the wrong strategy in addressing the fact that another major crime of “War of Infurgenocide” was being carried out in the Middle East under the leadership of the republicans under former President George Bush administration. There is no excuse for your administration not to obey by the terms and condition I had already outlined to move forward with the Phylistic comprehensive global nuclear and world wide conventional weapons of mass--destruction disarmament involving all nations in order for all of us to seek a comprehensive mutual collective UN world federations global security strategies, assurances, and compromises that can only be achieve through Phylistic accords principles among all region of the world. And my main concern here would be to try to focus Asian leaders attention to start thinking about pulling out the majority of all U.S. troops out of South Korea and in other places in South East Asia in order for all of us to replace them with a smaller multi-international UN world’s federation global peace keeping force, so that the rest of Asia to can seize on the opportunity to apply the pressure on both North and South Korea to fully accept the Phylistic demilitarize accord principle, not this U.S. military intervention strategy that has allowed the American the excuse to expand their military industrial complexes.

And of course, as I had stated before, it must include a multi--international multi--lateral accord that seeks to remove most of all the U.S. nuclear submarine in the region as a major concession in promising others to do the same in writing in order to pullout all U.S. military forces out of the entire region as a regional bloc law of principle so that everyone can find common ground to compromise on the decommission the unnecessary conventional weapons of mass--destruction buildup in the region as a result of the U.S. “War of intimidation” that has fester for the past several decade so that everyone can replace the U.S. military present there with a more neutralize less confrontational mandatory UN world’s federation smaller commissioned nuclear UN security and conventional arm force as a means of mutual collective deterrent where the United States does not dictate nor interfere in carrying out “War of Intimidation” tactics that have proven to be too costly and ineffective, as well as, agreeing to what Phylistic Political Science had said needs to be achieve in reaching the international goal target of 95% reduction in nuclear disarmament world wide within 10 years focusing on the year 2025 as the deadline for full compliance among newly soon to be created UN world’s federation regional bloc members. The lack of morals and ethic for humanity is what has been lacking in both the U.S. Senate and Congress and it because you and others in the U.S. government have known that I am the one who control the global nuclear disarmament initiative but you and other had refuse to accept that reality. Therefore, I would like to make this clear once again to everyone at the United Nations by invoking this public international notice herein that there is also the need to focus on U.S. military base closing in the Asian pacific region instead of trying to divert to much attention to North Korea and Iran. We all know here at the United Nations, Obama, that I have been advocating the support of for North Korea participation in these key area of global security and for the rest of the United Nations General Assembly to acknowledge North Korea supporting me in applying the global nuclear disarmament pressure against both the United States and Russia. So it shouldn’t had come to any surprise to anyone at the United Nations that confrontation would escalate if no one fully public acknowledge and accept the Phylistic global disarmament initiative. I had said before North Korea and Iran is of no major concern in trying to apply even more sanctions against them as the six party participant have been trying to advocate but with no real substance that can be describe as a major break through in eliminating all nuclear weapons world wide. As I had said to you, Obama, North Korean and other would only nuclear disarm themselves if the United states and Russia, as well as others, disarm themselves as well, multi-laterally, and I made the incentives worthwhile for everyone if everyone agree to the terms and conditions I have outlined to create the Phylistic international accords and principle that would penalize those individual nations who dear to want to hold onto the above 5% regional bloc transfer of nuclear weapons that would eventually become transferred into the hands of a new UN Nuclear security force. The mire fact that I had outline the initiative to create a new UN world’s federation global mutual and neutral nuclear deterrent force cannot be ignored in these debates, Obama. So what the hell are you trying to carpetate, you scare they might force you to return back your Nobel prize and the money they gave you, haven‘t you and the democrat leaned a lesson, I control and it’s just futile to go against it. And I had said, either way, whether you agree or disagree under my terms and conditions, the United States and Russia still would have to concede to give me the victory and the success story I been seeking on the international nuclear disarmament debate. You, as well as other, Obama, had known I have been claiming I want to achieve a comprehensive UN world’s federation global nuclear disarmament accords. So why pick on North Korea and Iran when I have been picking on you and others at the UN security council to accept the Phylistic UN nuclear global initiative. I want the 95% target hit and if I don’t get it all hell is going to break out in 2012 just watch and see.

And everybody at the UN knows China would windup being the one who would most likely refuse to accept the global pact, but yet China does not realize what the hell I really have been outlining in my new book “the U.S. Ponziwardebt” --------------- world’s federation accord rules which will isolate China on several front until China return Tibet sovereignty back to the Tibetan people and settle all outstanding disputed boundary and territorial rights they have with all their other neighbors in the region. China military expansion will not, must not, and shall not become the norm of tolerate in the Asian Pacific region nor should their behavior become the norm for the development of the entire Asian Pacific Regional Bloc World’s Federation (AP-F) -------------- (NA-F) (SA-F) (EURO-F) (CA-F) (A-F) (UA-F) (R-F) especially under the Phylistic second phase world trade trade--off where all eight major world’s federations will isolate China currency as they are now trying to flood the market with it, and the same could be said for the U.S. “Junk Benjamin” on the open market. In other words, I am here today on the international world wide internet to state that the U.S. military joint chief of staff will not and cannot dictate the terms and condition for agreement were global security will be best maintained. I am the one who would lay down the rules and I am also the one who will spell out the rules of engagement. There is no question about it, Obama, the U.S. military will be force to reduce it size and budget and concede to Phylistic Political Science humanity at the United Nations, there is nothing the U.S. military can do at this point except by you renounce the U.S. war on terrorism and fall in line to what I have been saying that war reparation must be paid out to the victims of war in both Iraq and in Afghanistan. I am the one who dominate the debate. I am the one who controls the debate. And I am the one who will out line the debate. In other words, Obama, I am going to come down real hard on the Japanese’s government and the South Korean government if they do not fall inline to the Phylistic model, not this stupid U.S. and Russian proliferation model and carpetation at the UN security council. And the reason I am saying this is to say that there will not be any joint confrontational “War of intimidation” exercise in any of the disputed region of the world and if such actions are taken again in the near future they will confronted with a new confrontational global public backlash of mistrust and resentment for not obeying to the Phylistic Political Science comprehensive global nuclear disarmament, and the political fallout would be enormous, especially to your reelection bid. #1 I will look into reporting posts but this forum is mostly unmoderated as stated in the first post. I do agree it would be nice to have some sort of a alert function. I've been testing something but it not quite work yet.

#2 No, there are a lot of people afraid of their governments and that will keep them from registering. Also I will quote myself:

People posting as anoymous has its downsides, sure. It is a trade off between allowing those to post who don't want to register (which in itself still is pretty much anonymous) or when I close posting for anons. We saw a big bump in posters and posts since anon posting is possible, and since the is no real misuse as in spamming I don't see a reason to change it.

Everyone is welcome to log in, and know that I don't give out your date, and we do our best to keep as little records as possible (I can't see ip's and the server logs are deleted on a regular basis). This is no guarantee but these efforts do help in ensuring even the registered users stay "anonymous" as long as they want to.

Every Anonymous poster can sign their post the way they see fit, and it of course would REALLY help in identify posters, but since that might forgo the whole point of posting anonymous I can see why people aren't doing this.

I hope we together can build up a reputation and a good forum where everybody is respected and so is their identity (both for registered as anonymous posters). I hope this will lead to more people actually registering a nickname and make all our lives easier :)

#3 No, I won't be implementing that function as it will strain the servers too much (I've been told) and this will slow down the forums extremely, especially at the busy moments.

**update** there is a favourite function tho that should be really helpfull as soon as I solve, but for now also can be used already by going to this link: http://www.wikileaksforum.net/profile/USERNAME/favorites #4 **

#4 I am looking into getting this running for own profiles, but for now this is disabled to guarantee people can not get the information of our members (registered members). I am looking for a solution tho.

About anonymity..I don't understand your point regarding fear of govs. Getting registered or not does not change your IP address.. So not registering will not prevent govs to find you if they want to. Only VPNs,proxys and TOR can guarantee you a pretty good privacy.

Making registration not mandatory only allow people to give their 2cents and leave. Basically it's just people who do not wish to register because they are accustomed to spamming forums and do not wish to give an email address.
People who think that not registering is being anonymous are misled.

On the anonymous posting thing I cannot convice you I think. It IS a trade off, but I don't think there is too much spamming going on, and there are extremely valuable posts made already by anonymous posters.

Like I said, I am working on a few of the problems and since you posted I've been plowing around in some code to get it to work. When I have the favourite things running it will sent you a mail when someone posts in one of your favorite topics (as long as it won't strain the server too much). Also working on the notification thing.

**E-mail notification**

I am currently testing a e-mail notification option that will sent an e-mail if someone posts in a favorite topic. This means if you want notifications you have to add the topic to favorites AND make sure you have notifications enabled within your profile settings (tick the box).

New topics can be added automatic to your favorites, or on a per creation basis (settings in profile)

**Profile view**

After being offline for about 4 hours profile view is back, so we can all edit (and enable NOTIFICATIONS) our profiles but NO data except the username and avatar is shown when someone tries to view your profile (which is not linked anywhere on the site except for yourself when you're logged in).

Thanks Sam for working hard on my requests.
I'm sure people will make a fair usage of the alert function.
Notifications will also allow us to follow our conversations, which was kind of hard before.
About anonymity, you're right :D There's no way you'll convince me ^^
It doesn't take expert skills to get to know someone's address even if not registered.
People afraid of data mining should probably just use a brand new nick-name.
I regret your decision but I have no choice but to accept it, it will just make our conversations more confused :-s

It surely does produce more responses, but it's not protecting your privacy and I doubt people do it for that purpose. I'll try to bear with it anyway. ;-)

yes i came to that conclusion a long time ago.i use my real name they know it anyway. i got pinged from america they sent me an email with my ip address on it merely for posting a comment calling for obama to be tried and executed at the hague. i dont fear them but i do not under estimate them either.

We are online for a full month now. In this post I will give you all a little update on how things are going. We have had around 30k unique visitors from about 140 countries over the whole world. The countries that are most involved in the discussion here at the forums are: USA, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia and Holland. In the US we are pretty popular in almost all the states, except for Wyoming.

We at the point have about 2500 posts made in over 330 different topics on this site. If you ask me for the best guestimate I can give I think we have about 600 active posters, but its hard because not all who are registered are posting, and not all who are posting are registered.

4 December 2010 was the first day the forums was online, and although this site is still pretty basic, it used to be even more basic. I have put in a lot of extra functions since the start, like: Post notification / Quote / Video Embedding / report post / polls and today I changed a bit of the CSS to make sure the texts/posts on this site don't have a full white background anymore, which is kinda hard on the eyes when reading a lot on this forums. I guess its possible I am forgetting some things but to me the forums at this point are pretty much "finished".

We have numerous very interesting topics available for you to read, and although I wanted to list a few here, I think its a bit to much work and would encourage you all to search the forums for anything that interesest you.

Please know that if you have any comments about this site you are more than welcome to make them in this topic, I am doing my best to "please" as many of you as possible. Making a request however doesn't mean I will be implementing your suggestion, but I most certainly will consider it.

If you miss any categories on this forum and would like me to add one (or more) also post it in this thread.

Please also consider sharing this site with all your friend or contacts in your social networks. We welcome all people who are willing to join the discussions on this site, no matter what side of the discussion you are on. Sharing is caring and this goes for not only this site but for all interesting articles/links/video/ect you find on the internets. There are several options to also share them with the forums (think Central Video topic or Links to Interesting Articles in the World Press) and sharing information and links like this is greatly appreciated by not only me but by all the readers/visitors of this site.

I received some questions on how to change the avatar on this site. The avatars are identicons and are randomly generated. BUT if you have your e-mail adres registered with Gravatar it will take that one as your avatar. So to change your avatar on this site you can go to http://gravatar.com and register with the same e-mail adres as you did here. After registration you can upload an avatar and after a few minutes it will show up on this site (and all site where you registered with the same mail and uses Gravatar as the Avatar provider.

one of mine was flippant comparing borstrom lawyer to blofeld which might have been better directed to twitter rather than here and another related to "ecology" and the need for transparency/openness if we will ever solve the issues and how wikileaks helps that process.

if you want to delete discussions, according to your taste, then as a writer, fully believing in freedom of speech, i fear you may be shooting yourselves in the foot! Look again at your own terms of service/reference as above.

I can say I have been sick fot the past 10 days, haven't been moderating or even posting at the forums during this time. I do have someone keeping an eye out on the forums so I will inform myself that way. I can tell you I have no idea what you are talking about but I will try to figure out what happened.

As stated, this forum is mostly unmoderated, both out of idealogical and "lazy" reasons. I think this is the way a discussion platform like this should be.

If it turns out your topic was wrongfully deleted I apologize and ask you for some understanding. Thanks for posting this, I will of course update this thread when I know more.

Hey guys, I've been absent from the forums for awhile (been busy with school), but now I'm back!! It's nice to see that the forums are still up and doing good, but what's up with the forum's twitter account, it hasn't been updated in like 2 months?!? But anyway, I just wanted to let everyone I'm back and if theres anything the forum needs help with, I'm here. One little suggestion that I would like to make is: a donation tab. It may be a little more work, but it sure beats having to deal with that window that pops up everytime I do something. It's just a quick thought, but other than that let's keep it going!!
